Aramid is a new type of composite fiber with excellent properties such as high strength, high-temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, high modulus, lightweight, anti-aging, and long life cycle. The Nomex honeycomb panel is made of a Nomex honeycomb core plus a surface carbon fiber panel. The sandwich structure makes Nomex honeycomb panels have better sound insulation and heat insulation than other metal and glass fiber materials, reducing energy consumption.

Nomex honeycomb panels can meet fire, smoke, and poison prevention standards. They have been successfully used on trains for more than 20 years for aesthetic and decorative reasons. The most important reason is that by replacing fiberglass or aluminum honeycomb panels with carbon fiber aluminum honeycomb core materials, the weight of the entire carriage can be greatly reduced and energy consumption efficiency can be improved. So far, Nomex honeycomb panels have been used on more than 5,000 buses.

 These methods can be traced back to the 20th century. Today, the manufacture of honeycomb cores involves expansion and corrugation processes, using composite materials.Polypropylene is the raw material used to make thermoplastic honeycomb structures, and extrusion is the main manufacturing method. This method allows for continuous direct skin lamination and online production.

 In addition to metal honeycomb composite structures, there are also cardboard honeycomb materials through cutting and bending processes. In manufacturing, they are used for blocking, cushioning, and support of paper pallets and packaging.

Panel Size:  Standard 1220mm x 2440mm or custom to project size.
Finishing Materials:  Options include aluminum, stainless steel, or other materials for both aesthetics and functionality.

1.Ensure structural integrity and use adhesive to firmly bond the honeycomb core to the aluminum panels.

2.Perform precise curing and bonding to ensure a solid connection between the core and the panels.

3.The panels are surface-treated and can be customized based on project requirements. Options include anodizing, powder coating, or decorative laminate.
