Carbon fiber foam sandwich panels, with a common thickness of 5.85mm, have a surface layer of 3K-2/2 twill carbon fiber cloth and a bottom layer of alkali-free glass fiber cloth, which are light in weight and high in rigidity. They are made by lamination and vacuum pressurization, with good bonding strength and low glue content. This can produce flat panels with smooth surfaces.

The resolution of the X-ray system using aluminum faced foam core panels is 4.01LP/mm, which meets the imaging resolution requirements of the medical equipment system for this panel. After filming, the film was inspected under a dedicated fluorescent lamp. There was no shadow visible to the naked eye, and no impurities with a diameter greater than 0.3mm were found after magnification, which fully met the relevant photographic index requirements.
