Manufacturing steps

 

Step 1

Weave the yarn and make carbon yarn into carbon fiber composite materials of various specifications. The weaving process is similar to weaving cloth, that is, weave the carbon yarn into various carbon cloth raw materials used by mechanical weaving according to technical standards, and then soak the carbon cloth in the corresponding resin solution and dry it to fix the carbon cloth. Interestingly, in order to prevent the deformation of the carbon yarn, it is sometimes stored in cold storage.

Step 2

Scientifically cut the carbon yarn and mark each piece of carbon cloth in detail. Each carbon fiber frame is made of hundreds of different carbon cloths. Large sheets of carbon cloth will be roughly cut into easy-to-operate sheets. A frame is made up of more than 500 independent pieces of carbon cloth. Each model requires a specific type of carbon cloth. Even if the same mold is used, the amount of carbon fiber cloth used is different.

Step 3

The next step is to roll the material, that is, to lay the cut carbon fiber prepreg on the core material in a specific order and angle, so that it has a preliminary frame shape and waits for the next step of curing. The rolling operation of the Ruibao factory is carried out in a closed dust-free workshop, which has very strict environmental requirements. Step 4

Entering the molding stage, the rolled product is placed in the molding mold and extruded at high temperatures. The carbon fiber mold is also a link where technology and cost are concentrated. It is necessary to ensure that the mold and the frame have the same thermal expansion rate, which is very important for ensuring the accuracy of the frame, especially today when the manufacturing accuracy requirements for cycle holder are getting higher and higher.

Step 5

 

For the parts that cannot be formed in one piece, they must be bonded and formed by special glue between the components, and then fixed into a complete whole through high-temperature baking. At this time, the glued frame will be clamped on a special carbon fiber fixture and sent to the curing furnace for curing. When the curing is completed, the frame can be taken out of the curing furnace and removed from the fixture.
