It ensures the permanent bond between materials, as it forms a chemical bond at the molecular level. The adhesive bonding method is the most common and widely used, as it creates a strong connection without degrading the structural integrity of either carbon fiber or metal.

 

Hybrid bonding is a combination of mechanical and adhesive bonding, mainly focus on reducing (moisture) absorption of the carbon fiber, therefore increasing its longevity and resilience.
