What is Qingsi Yunjia

The Qingjia Aeronautics team has developed a carbon fiber material with a multilayer spatial fiber structure. This new material overcomes a major limitation of conventional carbon fiber - it can only withstand impacts in one direction. By overlapping the carbon fiber structures, the new material spreads external forces in multiple directions. Tests show it's stronger, lighter, and more resistant to twisting and heat than traditional carbon fiber. It also looks cooler.

To make this possible, the team used finite element analysis to simulate the fiber structure, creating complex designs much faster than old mechanical methods. They also used a deep learning approach to analyze and select the best fiber structures.

With these tools, the team created a fiber fabric simulation algorithm called NAO. It performed detailed calculations on the core parts of the carbon fiber material, such as how it behaves under stress and how long it can last. Experienced engineers then selected the best structure and tested it thoroughly.

In May 2022, they completed the first mass-producible multilayer carbon fiber material called "Qingsi Yunjia". This material is a big step forward in carbon fiber technology, offering better performance and more applications.
