The use of vacuum bag film.

The purpose of vacuum bag film is to provide good coverage and remain impermeable at operating temperatures. It is the outermost layer material in vacuum sealing systems. Vacuum bag film is used to encapsulate component blanks and various process auxiliary materials in a vacuum system for molding, curing reactions, and completing component manufacturing. It is a coextruded film with high strength and elongation, allowing direct contact with resins. It is mainly used for ambient temperature molding, vacuum infusion, and pre-pressing of composite materials. This product is widely used in the wind energy and shipbuilding industries.
After our company successfully developed this product, it initiated the localization of vacuum bag film production and has applied for a patent. Vacuum bag film is typically made of nylon-6 or nylon-66, formed through blown film extrusion or lamination, with a thickness of 0.051mm and requiring an elongation rate of not less than 400% for the vacuum bag. Its shelf life is generally one year. Vacuum bag films for temperatures around 400°C are usually made from fluororubber or silicone rubber sheets rolled into shape, and these materials can be reused multiple times.
