Appearance and load-bearing capacity
The surface of the panel has clear and neat lines, no random lines, a smooth surface, no impurities, white spots, scratches, pits, pinholes, and other visible defects. After the rated load of 2158N (220Kg) is evenly applied to the bed panel, the deformation of the bed panel is ≤4mm. The same load is applied to a smaller area in the middle of the bed panel, and there is no tendency for permanent deformation. When a load of up to 8633N (880Kg) is evenly applied to the entire panel, there is no sign of damage to the bed panel structure, and the structural performance is very stable.
Aluminum equivalent determination
The thickness of the entire carbon fiber foam sandwich panel is 15mm, and the aluminum equivalent is only 0.05/mm, which is only 11% of the aluminum plate, much lower than traditional medical bed boards such as plywood and polycarbonate boards, and also lower than the phenolic resin panels of the same model. The X-ray transmittance performance is much higher than similar products at home and abroad.


Photographic imaging quality
The resolution of the X-ray system using this panel is 4.01LP/mm, which meets the imaging resolution requirements of the medical equipment system for this panel. After the X-ray film was taken, the film was inspected under a special fluorescent lamp. There was no visible shadow to the naked eye. After magnification, no impurities with a diameter greater than 0.3mm were found, which fully met the relevant photographic index requirements.
The damage of these Carbon Fiber Foam Core Sheets after impact is divided into three modes
1.The foam core thickness is thin 2.0mm. The damage to the upper skin of the specimen is mainly manifested as obvious bending deformation, the skin splits at the stress concentration, and slight pits are produced. The fiber and the matrix are debonded, and the lower skin and the upper skin are completely delaminated. There is no visually visible damage to the lower skin.
2. The foam core thickness is moderate at 3.0mm. The buffer distance of the foam composite material board is increased, the upper skin has no visually visible damage, the matrix cracks at the stress concentration, the fiber, and the matrix are debonded, the lower skin and the upper skin are partially delaminated, and there is no visually visible damage to the lower skin.
3. The foam core is 4.0mm thick, the foam composite material board has a long buffer distance, the upper skin has no visible damage, the matrix cracks at the stress concentration point, the fiber and the matrix are debonded, and the lower skin has no visible damage. Under 5J energy, the 2mm foam thickness sample cannot withstand 5J energy and delamination occurs.

·One layer of alkali-free glass fiber cloth
·5mm thick foam core
·One layer of alkali-free glass fiber cloth
·Transparent high-gloss surface gel coat
·Total thickness 5.85mm (+/-0.2mm); about 2.71kg/㎡.
