Which is better, carbon fiber board or solid wood board?
The first advantage of flat carbon fiber panels are it's lightweight. Its density is 1.7g/cm3, but compared with solid wood board, this advantage is not obvious. The density of solid wood floor is generally about 0.7g/cm3, heavy wood, and Wei La wood are about 0.8g/cm3, and bamboo is about 0.9g/cm3, which are all lighter than carbon fiber board.
The tensile strength of ordinary carbon fiber board can exceed 1000MPa, which is several times higher than that of steel plate. It is much better than solid wood board in this respect.
The third advantage of carbon fiber board is its multiple resistance, such as acid and alkali resistance, fatigue resistance, oxidation resistance, creep resistance, etc., and the thermal expansion coefficient is very small, which is not available in solid wood boards.
Solid wood boards also have their advantages, such as certain air permeability and hygroscopicity, the touch of wood itself is also relatively good, and some woods also have a natural fragrance, which is a very reliable home decoration material.
