150g carbon fiber unidirectional prepreg has the following characteristics:
-High strength and high stiffness
Carbon fiber itself has high strength, and the unidirectional arrangement enables it to give full play to its mechanical properties in the fiber direction. Its strength and stiffness are much higher than ordinary materials and can meet application scenarios with high requirements for structural strength and stability.
01
-Low density
Lightweight, with a specific gravity of about one-fourth that of steel. When used in aerospace, automotive, and other fields, it can reduce the weight of the structure, improve transportation efficiency and energy utilization, and does not affect the overall performance.
02
-Good corrosion resistance
It has excellent corrosion resistance such as acid and alkali resistance and oxidation resistance. It can be used for a long time in harsh environments, prolong the service life of the product, and reduce maintenance costs. Suitable for outdoor construction, chemical equipment, and other fields.
03
-Strong designability
It can be processed into various shapes of parts according to different mold shapes, which can meet the design requirements of complex shapes and structures, such as manufacturing special-shaped aerospace parts, automotive parts, etc.
04
-Good dimensional stability
When environmental factors such as temperature and humidity change, its dimensional changes are very small, which can ensure the accuracy and stability of the product during use. It is suitable for fields with high dimensional accuracy requirements such as precision instrument manufacturing.

Introduction to unidirectional carbon fiber prepreg
Carbon fiber prepreg can be made by the hot melt method and impregnation method. The hot melt method can control resin well, but when the resin viscosity is too high, carbon fiber is easy to deform. The impregnation method is to impregnate resin into carbon fiber. This production method has low cost and a simple production process, but incomplete impregnation may affect strength.
The production of carbon fiber prepreg requires the preparation of carbon fiber tows of the required width and content, and the carbon fiber tows are evenly spread on the fiber frame. At the same time, the heated resin can be evenly applied to the upper and lower release papers, and then the laid carbon fiber tows and the release paper coated with resin are placed in the roller. With the help of the pressure of the roller, the carbon fiber tows between the upper and lower release papers can be evenly impregnated with resin, and then the carbon fiber material impregnated with resin is cooled and shaped and then rolled to become carbon fiber prepreg cloth.
