Aluminum Honeycomb Plate

An aluminum honeycomb plate is a new type of composite panel with a sandwich structure. It has aluminum plates on both sides and aluminum foil with a hexagonal honeycomb structure in the middle. Aluminum honeycomb composite material (also known as aluminum honeycomb core, or aluminum honeycomb plate) is a composite material that uses multiple layers of aluminum foil and high-strength adhesive, which is stacked and stretched to form a regular hexagonal honeycomb hole structure. It is mainly used in civil buildings, vehicle and ship decoration, and aerospace materials.

In the market, the commonly used aluminum foil honeycomb material alloy state is 3003/H24, the thickness is basically between 0.03-0.06mm, the tensile strength is required to be above 280MPA, and the elongation is about 3%.Its main advantages are reflected in the following aspects:

1. Lightweight

The standard panel weighs only 16kg per square meter, which is equivalent to 6mm thick glass and only 1/5 of the weight of stone of the same thickness.

2.Impact resistance

The impact strength is 10 times greater than that of 3mm thick granite, and the whole piece will not break after impact, only part of the impact will be broken. After 120 cycles of acid freeze-thaw test (-25~50 degrees Celsius), the strength has not decreased at all. It is a good decorative material for high-rise buildings.

3. The surface can be made of any kind of stone

The stone can be treated in any way to ensure that the color difference, cracks, etc. are reduced to a certain extent.

4.Easy to install

This product is extremely convenient to install and can be pre-installed according to customer requirements. Generally, large-scale installation equipment is not required. At a lower level, only simple tools are needed. This product is suitable for combined unit curtain wall installation. Since the weight of the material is greatly reduced, it can be easily fixed to the wall using ordinary adhesives. The installation is simple, with fewer auxiliary materials, saving time and effort, and reducing installation costs.

5. Good sound insulation and heat insulation

After testing, its sound insulation and heat insulation effects are better than 30mm thick natural stone panels. The specifications of the stone aluminum honeycomb composite panel can be changed at will. The standard plate size is 1200mm x 2400mm, with thicknesses of: 20mm for standard plate, 4mm for stone, 14mm for aluminum honeycomb, and 2mm for high-strength transition layer and adhesive layer.
