Raw Carbon Fiber Sheets

Since the fiber is very thin, only 7μm, it is very easy to break. Therefore, reducing the breakage of fiber as much as possible and ensuring the continuity and integrity of the fiber sheet are important parameters to ensure the final reinforcement effect. This is also a major problem that domestic materials need to solve. The large amount of impurities in domestic raw fibers is one of the main reasons for the low strength of carbon fiber (see the table below).

The carbon fiber sheets we use for structural reinforcement contain pre-impregnated resin. Its function is to make the fibers mutually constrained and bonded to form a whole that bears the force together, but too much pre-impregnation and too thick impregnation are not conducive to repair and reinforcement. Because carbon fiber reinforced concrete structure is achieved by repeatedly penetrating the carbon fiber sheet with epoxy resin on the top and bottom. 

Only when the raw carbon fiber sheets are evenly distributed and processed into sheets can they play the role of overall uniform stress. If the material homogeneity is not good, the fiber sheets will be unevenly stressed locally after the component is stressed, and the carbon fiber reinforcement effect cannot be fully exerted.
