DESCRIPTION
HG85PP is an advanced 85gsm PA66 (Nylon 66) vacuum bagging peel ply that provides increased tear-strength and operating temperatures, as well as easier release from cured laminate when compared to our standard peel ply polyester. This nylon peel ply can withstand very high maximum operating temperatures of 230°C, making it suitable for use with prepregs that require high cure temperatures.

Introduction of Nylon Peel Ply
The process for forming Nylon Peel Ply involves making the product denser, improving the fiber resin ratio, and enhancing mechanical properties by applying vacuum pressure uniformly to the preform sealed between the mold and the vacuum bag. Vacuum bag forming processes are generally categorized into two types:
The dry vacuum bag process, also known as the vacuum resin introduction process, involves layering and covering dry fiber and then introducing resin after holding pressure with the vacuum bag.
The wet vacuum bag process, also known as the reinforcement materials containing impregnated resin, first involves laying out the materials and then applying vacuum. Typical examples include the prepreg process and hand lay-up bag pressing process.

ADVANTAGES
• When the composite peel ply is removed from cured laminates, it leaves behind a textured surface, thereby reducing the time required for manual finishing.
• The lower-cost tightly woven fabric decreases material expenses and is simpler to remove, leading to reduced labor costs.
• Red pin stripes enhance the visibility of the fabric, decreasing the risk of it being left in place after curing.

Application: vacuum forming and hand lay up process of GRP carbon fiber, such as blades of wind power generator, hull of yacht, car body, tank body of pressure vessel, etc
