Vacuum Bagging Peel Ply
DESCRIPTION
HG85PP is a high specification 85gsm PA66 (Nylon 66) vacuum bagging peel ply offering higher tear-strength and operating temperatures and an easier release from cured laminate compared to our standard peel ply polyester. The nylon peel ply has a very high maximum operating temperature of 230°C making it suitable for use even with high cure temperature prepregs.

Introduction of Vacuum Bagging Process
The vacuum bag forming process is to make the product denser, improve the fiber resin ratio and improve the mechanical properties by pumping vacuum and evenly applying pressure on the preform sealed between the mold and the vacuum bag.
Generally, vacuum bag forming processes are divided into two categories:
1. It is commonly known as dry vacuum bag process, that is, vacuum resin introduction process, laying and covering dry fiber, and introducing resin after vacuum bag pressure holding.
2. It is commonly known as wet vacuum bag process, that is, the reinforcement materials containing impregnated resin are first paved, and then vacuumized. Typical examples are prepreg process and hand lay-up bag pressing process.

ADVANTAGES
• Composite peel ply strip off of cured laminates leaving a textured surface, reducing time spent hand finishing.
• Lower cost tightly woven fabric reduces material cost and is easier to remove, reducing labor cost.
• Red pin stripes make fabric more visible to reduce risk of leaving in place after cure.

Application: vacuum forming and hand lay up process of GRP carbon fiber, such as blades of wind power generator, hull of yacht, car body, tank body of pressure vessel, etc
Common supporting tools: vacuum bag film, sealant strip, release agent, roller brush, brush, resin, etc
