On April 19, Zhongfu Shenying held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new high-performance carbon fiber production project in Lianyungang City, with an annual capacity of 30,000 tons.
The project, initially signed on January 6, 2023, is located in the Lianyun Economic Development Zone of Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province. With a total investment of approximately ¥6 billion, it will involve the construction of 380,000 square meters of new facilities, including polymerization units, precursor production lines, carbonization lines, and supporting infrastructure.
This 30,000-ton project marks a new phase in Zhongfu Shenying's large-scale strategic expansion. It will utilize nuclear-powered steam and photovoltaic energy to achieve green and low-carbon energy transition during production. Notably, the facility will adopt China's most advanced "4.0" carbon fiber industrialization technology for the first time in its plant design.
The project aims to accelerate the large-scale application of high-performance carbon fiber in aerospace, new energy, and other sectors while actively building a green ecosystem for the carbon fiber industry.
