In recent investor communications, Zhongjian Technology revealed that its flagship products currently in mass supply are the ZT7 series, primarily serving aerospace and defense sectors, with additional applications in hydrogen storage, civil aviation, and rail transit.
The company also disclosed that its higher-tier ZT9 series carbon fiber has entered small-batch production. Responding to investor queries about why ZT9 is marketed as meeting T1000 performance standards despite its tensile strength of 5,800 MPa (compared to T1000's 6,300 MPa), Zhongjian clarified: ZT9 is a customized product designed for specific user requirements. Beyond tensile strength, modulus is a critical metric-especially for aircraft weight reduction. ZT9's higher modulus and composite performance in end-use scenarios align with aviation priorities, justifying its classification as meeting T1000-level specifications.
Bolstered by China's rapid carbon fiber industry growth, Zhongjian reported robust 2022 Q3 results: operating revenue surged 72.8% year-on-year to 519 million yuan, net profit attributable to shareholders rose 120.84% to 320 million yuan, and adjusted net profit increased 118.47% to 296 million yuan.
