On April 23, Seiko Technology announced that it plans to acquire Zhejiang Jiabao Polyester Co., Ltd. with its funds.
This acquisition is a related transaction, mainly because it plans to use the site advantages of Seiko Carbon Material Chemical Park to meet the company's carbon fiber industry business development needs for business sites.
Seiko Carbon Material was established in 2021, formerly known as Zhejiang Jiaren New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 180 million yuan. Its business scope includes new material technology research and development, promotion services, and recycling of renewable resources.
Previously on March 17, Seiko Technology announced that it plans to raise 943 million yuan for projects such as the "Carbon Fiber and Composite Equipment Intelligent Manufacturing Construction Project". After the project reaches full production, it will mainly form an annual production capacity of 20 sets of high-performance carbon fiber complete equipment.
Seiko Technology is mainly engaged in research and development, production and sales, technical services, precision manufacturing and processing business, and project development of carbon fiber and composite material equipment, solar photovoltaic special equipment, etc.
In terms of performance, the company's revenue in 2023 was 1.54 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 34.66%; the net profit attributable to the parent was 183 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 37.51%. The decline in performance was mainly due to the slowdown in the macro-economy and downstream customer investment.
Since 2023, around the overall layout of "polymer spinning equipment, carbonization equipment, and composite equipment", Seiko Technology has continuously improved and perfected the production process and technology of carbon fiber series equipment and further accelerated the expansion of domestic and foreign markets.
In terms of carbon fiber equipment, during the reporting period, the company continuously won orders and successively signed contracts with customers such as Jilin Guoxing, Donghua Energy, and South Korea's Hyosung with a total amount of more than 2 billion yuan. After being exported to South Korea, core equipment such as the oxidation furnace of the wire laying machine entered the Vietnamese market for the first time.
