The World's First Hydrogen-Powered 70MP Large-Volume Storage Hydrogen Bottle Makes Its Debut, Crafted with Carbon Fiber Wrapping Technology
Recently, the Shenneng Group and French hydrogen storage solution provider Pin Oak Group jointly launched the world's first hydrogen-powered smart rail 70MP large-volume Type IV hydrogen storage bottle. After production and testing, the hydrogen storage bottle has been integrated into the Pin Oak Blue Energy Jiading Anting factory.

In May of this year, Pin Oak Blue Energy signed a cooperation agreement with CRRC Intelligent Travel, providing Type IV bottle hydrogen storage systems and marking Shenneng as the first automotive parts supplier in the domestic market to apply this technology to the rail transit field, also representing the largest batch of hydrogen storage system supply projects in the country to date.
The newly launched 70MP Type IV hydrogen storage bottle utilizes cutting-edge carbon fiber composite material wrapping technology, setting a new industry benchmark with its lightweight design and excellent safety performance.
Currently, this hydrogen storage system has been installed on the country's first intelligent hydrogen rail vehicle. The vehicle is powered by a hydrogen energy system, with a super long endurance of 245 kilometers, a speed of 70 kilometers per hour, and the capacity to carry over 300 passengers. The vehicle can be refueled with hydrogen in just 10 minutes, demonstrating the broad application potential of hydrogen in the transportation sector.
It is reported that Pin Oak Blue Energy (Shanghai) Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is a joint venture established by Pin Oak New Energy and Zhejiang Blue Energy under the Shenneng Group, mainly producing and providing Type IV high-pressure hydrogen storage bottles and Type III, Type IV hydrogen storage systems for the Chinese commercial vehicle market.
Pin Oak Group and Shenneng Group will fully leverage Pin Oak's hydrogen energy technology advantages through Pin Oak Blue Energy, accelerate the domestic production of key raw materials like carbon fiber, and promote the application and commercialization of hydrogen technology in the mobility sector.
