What Are The High-capacity Carbon Fiber Projects?

Yunnan Mei Neng New Materials Co., Ltd., which has invested 7.5 billion yuan, has signed a contract for major projects such as an annual production of 24,000 tons of high-performance acrylonitrile (PAN)-based carbon fiber and is currently actively carrying out various preliminary work.

On January 18, 2024, the People's Government of Anning City, Yunnan Province, and Changsheng Technology signed an investment agreement for a high-performance carbon fiber project. The Changsheng Technology high-performance carbon fiber project is located in Caopu Chemical Park, Anning Industrial Park. After the project is implemented, it will fill the gap in Kunming's carbon fiber manufacturing industry and effectively promote the extension of the petrochemical industry chain to downstream high-end material manufacturing.
